Established in 1918, Aizu Homare Brewery (meaning Honor, Glory & Praise) has been a well-respected sake producer from the Kitakata City, located at the foothills of Mount Iide 飯豊山. The sweetness is modest compared to the Japanese liqueur. It has a juicy finish as if you were eating the lychee as it was in the season.
