About Tasya's Reserve:
It is a series of wines named after the founder's first grand-daughter, Anastasya. The founder, Mr CK Chan, expressed his aspiration and commitment to establish the family's legacy starting with this series of wines, which focuses on perfecting single variety wines that truly reflect the terroirs of Shanxi & Ningxia. The wines are aged in one year old barrels for a minimum period of 12 months.
About Aglianico Grape Variety:
A south Italian native grape variety which has a viticulture history of more than 2,500 years, especially in the regions of Basilicata and Campania. In modern times, it is being referred to the "Barolo of Southern Italy" and together with Sangiovese and Nebbiolo, are being considered the three signature reds of Italy. Wines produced are often full-bodied, with supple tannins balanced with bright acidity, strong potential for aging. Outside Italy, the grape variety found very strong quality and commercial success in the sunny regions of South Australia, California USA and Shanxi China.
Tasting Note :
Dark red with crimson hue. Red to dark berry fruits, chocolate cake (pastry alike), light earthiness characters shows through on the nose. Full strength palate with well polished tannin texture. Persistent finish.
Food Pairing :
Big juicy steak or Wagyu beef, rich mutton stew, roasted game meat.
