Tasting Note:
Through the Terroir Series trio, the winemaking team intend to show Argentina's winemaking heritage and its distinctive varieties. Attractive and innovative blends have beenmade with grapes from the best terroirs for each variety.
It's a unique combination in this wine. The colour is intense red with violet glints. The nose has aromas of ripe black fruit such as blueberry and blackberry, together with spicy aromas typical of high-altitude Malbec.
On the palate the wine has all of the silkiness of the variety, the structure and freshness of Petit Verdot, and the fruit notes of Bonarda. Very structured, with a marked personality. Medium-bodied with a light mid-palate, it offers elegant tannins that translate into a dry sensation, and an aftertaste reminiscent of semisweet chocolate.
Food Pairing:
This Malbec is a great match for steak, pork, and lamb, as well as fattier fish like salmon and poultry with dark meat. Game meat—like bison, ostrich, and venison—are also a safe bet. In addition to meat pairings, consider foods with richer sauces or more vibrant flavors.
